Is there any chance you could make Booboo and your other cats a cat enclosure like I have for mine? That way they get to be outdoors but are protected from the wildlife and don´t catch birds but can still enjoy them. Even if a large predator gets through the chicken wire, if you have a cat flap from it back into your house, your kitty can escape back to safety. Maybe this isn´t possible for you but I thought I´d suggest it. There are pictures of mine in Cisco´s and Pancho´s profiles.
