Apologies if this topic has already been discussed but I´m having problems with this new site and I can´t navigate it.

There are a few things not working since the new layout was put in place:

The pages take a VERY long time to load (using both Firefox and IE, and checked on 3 different computers).

Patting the cats doesn´t register: I pat them and the page reloads but the number doesn´t change, even when I refresh the page.

Requesting buddies doesn´t always work first time and I often have to try again.

Viewing my cats´ buddies often doesn´t work. I click the tab and it doesn´t appear fully, just a part of the box which i have to close and try to reopen.

Is anyone else having all these problems? I´m finding it really frustrating and it´s taking away the enjoyment I once had on UC.

By the way, I see that this has been posted in the wrong section of the forum - again due to the fact that clicking links wasn´t working.

can i say that i am having the same problems as well i used to enjoy coming on this website alot but now i dont as it seems to me that everying is alot slower which i hate please sort these problems out or is it just me with these problems.

I have noticed how slowly the site loads on any computer I´m on, but it did that to me prior to the layout change

I find commenting on the birthday cats a problem as I have to sign back in from the dog site to get the birthday cats back up again

Hmmm. I´m not having any of these problems, either on my work PC or my home PC. What kind of connection to you all have?

you will have to forgive me Wolfie I have a very basic technical knowledge of computers what do you mean by connection?

I find the patting of cats much slower than before too but if you pat the cat and wait before clicking on ´next photo´, the number of pats does change! Sometimes though, I have patted the cat and then a blank page comes up and I have to go back a page to click for the next photo. As for the birthday cats, after wishing a happy birthday to one, you have to click on the Unitedcats icon to get back to the main page with the birthday listings, whereas on the old system, they were always in front of you. Maybe it just takes a bit of getting used to.

I find patting the cats takes longer but Im learning to adjust to everything else. I guess it will take time.

I liked the old format better

I am having problems with the virtual points I have it wont wont let me give any virtual gifts to other cats despite it says -83 points its been like this for over week or two and nobody has mentioned to me if the problem will be fixed

If any users have negative bonus points or see their points are not accumulating properly, please contact zuzlik (Admin) directly by cat-mail. Only Admin can investigate a point problem and adjust the point total. If you don´t want to contact Admin directly, please contact any mod who will pass your information along. Posting point problems in the forum will not solve the problem as no user nor mod can adjust points and Admin might not see the post.

If you have contacted Admin or any mod regarding this or any other problem and have not received a response, please try again.

To any user who has any type of problem, please post under one thread only. Duplicate posts in another thread will be deleted. Thanks for your co-operation.

I just figured out why people are missing comments. I am missing a bunch too. If the person who made the comment made it on a foreign site and not the international site, it will appear on the foreign site only. For some strange reason, the comments did not loop over into the English speaking/International site like they used to. It is obviously a "glitch".

This is the first I´ve heard of comments made on national sites looping (or not) to the international site. There are also users who cannot see blocks of comments made to them from one date to another, for example all comments made in a certain week. IT is working hard to correct these problems and hopefully all missing comments will reappear shortly.

Thanks Marcatmm - I checked some of the foreign language sites and found comments there about my kitties...but...they never appeared on the English/International site....only the foreign site. This affected comments only made recently....after the site was changed so I am sure that it is something IT is working on. I just wanted to point it out...

Unless I am losing my eyesight but the comments I made in the super heroes posting are gone. Can´t find them anywhere.

I´ve noticed that the pats are slower, but I am adjusting to that. A lot of problems I was seeing I don´t see now so admin is definitely working on the problems. I´m sure everything will be fixed in time. The one thing I don´t like is having to go back and forth more, but I am adjusting!

I´ve got an even bigger problem, every single cat I click on gave me this msg prompt:"No cat found with such ID"...

oh no!

I noticed that when I click on a kitty even if it isnt a kitty buddy of mine it gives me the message that there is no suoch ID of that cat.What´s going on?
