Introduction
I was adopted from a shelter as a senior cat - 8 years at that time. Can you believe nobody wanted me because I was "too old". I´m so mellow and loving and think there´s nothing as great as having a brush, a cuddle and a nap. I never meow except when I get the once-a-week cat crazies around 3 a.m. and then it´s one long blood-curdling howl and look out, walls, here I come a-runnin´!!

Congratulations Where did you get your nickname "Little tank"?
First of all, thanks to UC for making me Cat of the Week. I´m totally shocked and feeling proud and also humbled that I was chosen from among all the wonderful cats on the site. This is such an honour for an old girl like me!!

I´m not a big cat in either heighth or length. And I´m certainly not roly-poly fat!! But I´m very - what´s the word? - "thickset" is good one, I think. My body is rock-hard, I´m never sick and my mood never changes. So - squarish, solid, indestructible - just like a tank!!

Your owner is a moderator on Unitedcats site. How do you help her with moderating UC.
The best help I give her is moral support when she´s banging on that little thing called the flap-pop. Often I sit on the desk beside her, but I never put my paws on the keys or stick my face (or furry bum) in front of the screen. Lots of times when she´s tired or when she´s seen something that makes her sad like a lovely rainbow kitteh, I scoot closer and give her a nudge. She always stops to pet me for a bit and I know it makes her feel better - and it makes me feel good too. Then when she sees or reads something really funny, she´ll grab me and give me a big hug and kiss! It´s such fun being an assistant...

What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion (and I even have an Idgie U degree to show I´m qualified) is grooming, grooming and more grooming. Anything, anytime, anywhere - and of course keeping myself looking beautiful as well!! I feel extra passionate about my grooming abilities when I can sneak up on that Sunny and give him a few good really licks before I get his "disgusted" look and a bop on the head!!

Describe your perfect day?
A perfect day would include lots of cuddles and kisses, doing something to particularly annoy Sunny, having a nice play with a favourite toy, enjoying some people-food tuna and a few dried fish treats, taking a long nap in the window with the sunshine streaming in and just BEING. I´m not at all complicated and I enjoy and appreciate every minute of my quiet life to the fullest!!

What is your most treasured possession?
My most treasured possessions aren´t things - they´re Mom, Sunny and all the wonderful buddies from around the world I´ve made on UC!! I hope everybody will take the time to nominate their favourite cats to become future Cats of the Week. There are so many beautiful and deserving cats to choose from and many of them have stories of overcoming sad beginnings or disabilities that are so inspirational!!

If you could change one thing about yourself then what it would be?
Wow - that´s a toughie!! I had to think about the answer and thinking isn´t my strong point. I would change my age. Not to be a kitten again, but just to have more years to enjoy with those in whose love I live.

Describe your best memory?
I had been in the shelter for ages and Mom was taking sooooo long to decide whether to adopt a second cat, even though I knew she loved me madly. She has short black hair that´s spiky on top, and one day she was holding me and stroked the fur on my head towards my face so that it stood up straight. Two women were passing and one said to her with a laugh, "that punky cat looks just like you" and the other woman also laughed and agreed. My little heart started beating so fast!! I knew at that very moment that their remark had sealed the deal and I was going to my forever home just as soon as the papers were filled out!! Thanks, ladies, whoever you were...
